ResMi Pass is a relationship declaration designed for couples who travel and stay together. It brings your key details into one structured document so you can provide a clear statement of your relationship when it is requested in connection with travel and accommodation. ResMi Pass is intended for practical use, such as during hotel check-in, short-term rental stays, or other situations where relationship status needs to be stated.

What ResMi Pass does
ResMi Pass presents a straightforward confirmation that you are travelling as a couple and specifies the relationship status you declare. It also links that information to your trip by stating the destination or destinations. By keeping everything in one place, the document makes it easier to provide consistent information across different accommodation providers and travel contexts.
How the document is organised
ResMi Pass is set out so the reader can quickly see who the document relates to and what it covers. It includes the personal details of both individuals, the trip destination(s), and relationship status (for example, married, cohabiting, or engaged). It may also include the date the relationship began, where relevant to the purpose of the document.
Verification through signatures and witnesses
The document is signed by both individuals in the relationship. It is also witnessed by two individuals aged 18 or over, who confirm that they have verified the couple’s signatures. This provides a clear record that the signatures have been checked by independent witnesses.
Where it can be used
ResMi Pass can be used in connection with hotels, aparthotels, resorts, short-term rentals such as Airbnb, and other accommodation types that may request relationship information. It can also be used more generally during travel when a clear statement of relationship status is required for administrative or procedural reasons.
Traveller responsibility
Travellers are responsible for checking the rules and documentation requirements for their destination and trip, including entry requirements, stay conditions, and accommodation rules. ResMi Pass is used as a complement in these contexts and should contain only information relevant to the trip.
